suspended timber floor

Am about to construct suspended timber floor over good concrete garage floor,it has no dpm under it,so i will lay down a damp proof membrane 1st then lay 100x50 joists directly on to this with 65mm celotex between joists and finish off with 22mm chipboard and then a laminate floor.....if i fix joist...

driveway drain

Hi, Your drain probably is running into a soakaway somewhere,they do block up after time,you are not supposed to direct surface water down a foul drain,i would suggest digging up the drain and seeing it is blocked or the soakaway is blocked,perhaps you could divert into a ditch if you have one close...
