I make no wonder there are no replies to this one..... everything separates on this sealant. Just keep applying coats around it and it should catch and bond with itself eventually. Applying any covering bonding agents will just peel off in the bad weather anyway!

Both the blade and the spiker work well, but using a steamer, simply allow the steam to soften the vynil and then pull it off.

The spiker is a brilliant tool and well worth the money....... if all else fails it is a great way of venting ones spleen on the subject!!! ;-)

Oil based undercoat is the common undercoat that is available at all stores. Give the paper a good coat with a roller and allow to dry completely.
This done you can emulsion as normal.

vynl wallpapers dont paint too well, the colours will come through if they are deep tones. If you really feel this is what you want to do then I strongly suggest painting over the whole area with Oil Based Undercoat. Allow to dry then continue to paint with Emulsion. This should do the trick. Sealan...
