Thanks for the advice, I know what your saying about the personal thing Its like trying to recomend a pair of underpants !!!!
Thought no two testers would be the same just me doing my usual thing and looking to hard !!! (its an O,C,D thing)

Hi Sparx Im sorry to bother you again - I asked a while ago about advice on test gear (Dilg 9083P) and in your reply you said you had a Dilog 9073 was wondering if it measures the same as your megger ?? only ask becaues read a review on it and the guy said it measured higher then his other tester !!...

Sparx Thanks for the advice mate, I was swayed towards the Megger becase of the probe, seemed a good idea, and the brand name, But think I will go for the Di-log 9083P instead, as I dont use the thing that much and if anything goes wrong with the Megger it, will probably be out of warranty by the ti...

Hi Guys Looking for some to buy a multi function tester could anyone recomend an easy to use make/ model as there's hundreds out there ! Got a few in mind :- Di-Log 9083P / Seaward powertest 1557 (think these are both the same thing different wrapper) or a Megger 1552 would appreciate any suggestion...

Hi hope someone can clear this up How Is multi strand wire measured??? eg, 16mm2 It has 7 strands each measuring 1.7mm thick when added together only add up to 11.9mm which is NOT 16mm2 !!!
