The only way I can think of to fix this is an internal soil pipe. It’s a big job and will take a few days. It’s only about a £150’s of materials but the labour will be high on a job like this. Most of the time we would try and fix an external one if we can. If your unsure what your doing call...

What kind of panel is it? Make sure you have a good look for any screw that could be holding it in place. If it’s a thin plastic one, you can just pull down on it and pop it off. There should be a bit of wood a long the bottom off it too, remove it. If it’s a wooden one, it could be screw in pla...

I think the main trouble with taps now days are there just cheap imports. It’s hard to find cartages for a lot of them. In some cases they have been made in a factory and compress air tools have been used to tighten up the parts, so it’s all most imposable to take them apart. It’s just easier ...

Easy to fix.

Just get some Fernox boiler noise silencer for about £18 and put it in.

I wouldn’t if I was you. It’s not just the pipe work, there a bit more to it. You have the wiring, motorised valves and control pack. Not a job for amateur. I would not start it; if you do you can make some very costly mistakes. From a legal point of view, you can do all of the pipe work, radiat...

Your central heating pump is on its last legs.

Get someone out to replace it.

The pumps start at about £30 for a cheap one; a good one from Grundfos is about £65

Labour should be about £40 and should take about ½ hour to install.

This is an air intake problem.

Easy to fix, but call out a pro to have a look.

There could be a risk of carbon monoxides gas leaking out.

And I would leave a window open in the area of the boiler until it’s checked out.

Right it sound to me like a lack of water in the system. If you have a look at your boiler there should be a dial on it. If this dial is reading zero, then you just need to fill it with some more water using the filling loop. A filling loop looks like a flexible hose, about 15cm long and has a tap o...
