Expansion vessel need recharging if it drips when heated. If the cylinder is a megaflow type with internal expansion, turn the water supply off, drain the taps and turn back on again.

The problem is caused by the water coming out of the cylinder faster than it is going in thus pulling air down the expansion pipe and through to your taps. If it has started doing this gradually getting worse over time, check the feed inlet at the bottom of the cylinder for a blockage or scale build...

Depends on the thread size on the pump. If it is a normal central heating pump the thread is 1 1/2" bsp.
Use a pump valve and a 22 x 15 mm reducer. If you are not surer take the pump to a plumbers merchants and say you want to come off it in 15mm. They will give you the right fittings
