Damp on wall in doorway with UPVC door

Not sure if this is the right forum but will ask anyway. We have damp climbing the walls in our kitchen doorway. Seems to be a recent development and is likely to be due to the sealant at the bottom and corner of the UPVC door perishing. IF this is the case I'm assuming I can just reseal with someth...

Installing a new hole in wall fire surround

I currently have a standard "hole" where my fire used to be. I have purchased a stone "hole in wall" type of fire surround and need to arrange for it to be fitted, but first I need to know exactly how it should be done to ensure that whoever fits it does it correctly. I can't see...
