stevenc1603 you sound like a genius. Whatever you are getting paid, it really isn't enough. Thanks loads for your advice, I will put it to good use. I'm not sure if one of the black wires has a red mark on it. Is there any way I can test the wire without barbecueing myself? many thanks in advance.
