cheers - the lead pipe to connected to a new copper pipe (somehow, its all under paint) so that isn't an issue. the tap is on the new copper part. Finding the stop tap in the street however.... hmmm!

Hi I have turned off the mains stop tap in my house and all the taps have turned off... except one. Its an old outhouse cold water pipe (originally feeding the toilet which I have already removed). Removed downstairs toilet. How do I seal the soil pipe?

IMG_1564.jpg Hi I have an outside toilet that I no longer want. I have removed it but can't decide how to seal the pipe that is leftover. Can I simply put a cap over the hole? The pan connector went inside the pipe, so a cap would need to be a 'male' sort of design. I couldn't find anything in Wick...
