my conservatory was completed just before christmas 2007, i have had two raise and seal anhole covers fitted.......... absolutely no problems at all. i have now laid a laminate floor over the top.... no smells, so dont be worried about it, it is standard practice and is inline with all building regs.

i suggest that you look up the building regs for your district, and if you can , find out who is constructing the proposed building, to find out the regs on how close to your boundary they can go. BE NOSY, BUT CAREFUL.

raise and seal manholes

Hi, i have just been told by my conservatory builders that i have 2 manholes that need to be relocated, or if that is not possible they can be raised and sealed on the floor of my consevatory, obviously for accessibility, these will be basically inside my new room. i am concerned of smells or gases ...
