Ok, it's easy for air to get locked when you run it off the vent pipe.

It's when people run different taps it seems to trap air in the pump.

Can't you just put an ******* flange in. They can be tricky as you don't want to drop the washers into bottom of cylinder but a steady hand you should be fine.

Salamanda are a good pump manufacturer, you may need to increase your cylinder size if you are running two showers especially with a pump on. I take it you have a bog standard cylinder at mo? (120 litres) You can run 15 litres a min on a power shower, 6 litres per min on an eco shower head. So 10 mi...

I would also check the hot water temperature, i've had issues in the past where the cylinder stat didn't work anymore and the hot water temperature was too hot for the thermostatic valve and kept shutting down.
