Do as the builder says, get a lawful development cert. With my local council, this goes through the web planning portal in the same way so when approved, it's all publicly recorded - handy when you come to sell your house. Changing bay window to kitchen window

Planning to turn our front living room into a kitchen (already have planning for rear extension) and need to replace the bay window with a higher normal window so we can use the space for sink/worktop.

Do we need planning permission for that?
