Part P is law but the regulations are not but can be used in a court of law to show work was at fault. So when I quote the regulations that does not mean they must be followed in all cases. The regulations say over 2kW and fixed needs a dedicated circuit i.e. not from the ring final so heavy items ...

How To Stop Toilet Seat Slipping

Please can someone tell me how to prevent a toilet seat from sliding. No matter how tight I fasten the retaining nuts the seat eventually loosens and then slides slightly. There must be a simple solution to my problem.The regular users of the toilet are of normal weight and size.

Hi Oldalex01 The fact that you can get the lights to work indicates there is no neutral fault. Without any more info on your wiring, I would suggest you have a faulty switch.
