thanks welsh brickie never done a dpc before so I have some questions. the original dpc stops at the slab of concrete so I cannot continue the direct line to the other side. shall I go 1 row above but overlap the 2 ends of the original dpc, hoping to create a seal? which is the best product to use? ...

thanks for reply proptech I think your correct. went along to local builders merchants and they had similar. next comes my other issue. would aquaseal need to be applied all over wall down to aco or just in splashback area? I would imagine a grate wouldn't create as much splashback as a solid patio against a wall would.

good idea for legs on grate
