Re: LED Lamp Information - What Colours for What Rooms?

Daylight 5500k Cloudy 6500k Shade 7500k Tungsten 2850k Fluorescent 3800k Photographic Flash 5500k These are from Photoshop to set RAW files and it would seem most LED lamps tend to be 3000k considered as warm white although to me they seem a little on the white side. Looking at a photo inside a pub...

Re: Firefox Not Responding and Disc Openning Issues in Powerpoint

Noticed this post has been on here a while, but in case you're still looking for a possible fix, I'd say best thing to do is go into control panel in the start menu, click on installed programs, find Mozilla Firefox and uninstall it. Use Internet Explorer to re-download it and then reinstall it. It ...

Re: Black Mould Bathroom and Ensuite and Bedroom - Help Needed!

don't dry clothes on the bathroom radiator, have a extractor fan fitted and install a trickle vent in the window Ah, right, sounds perfectly logical. Thanks for the info! Only really noticed it the other day, gathering in the corners of the ceiling and around the window. Wouldn't mind but I always ...

Re: LED Lamp Information - What Colours for What Rooms?

Hi, LED's are moving along at a rate of nott's these days, but i would look at lamps at around the 2500k as warm white & 6000k as daylight. The ones above 6000k can start to look a bit blue. If the money is not a problem, i would go for a 4000k -6000k 7 watt as you get more light than a 50w hal...

Re: Black Mould Bathroom and Ensuite and Bedroom - Help Needed!

Ok, this is obviously an extreme case but I've got some bad mould in my bathroom and it looks like it's getting worse, are there any suggestions on how to prevent it in the first place other than open the window as the window is basically open every day and it still happens.. :P

Re: Joining electrical flexes for table lamp running off mains

Hi milliefive There is one way of doing this that I used come across quite often. That is to terminate the power cable using a 2 amp round pin socket. and plug on the light flex. NOT a standard 13 amp socket. That way, nothing else can be plugged in. Ah, thanks for this. I was having a similar prob...

Got a customer who wants to change all the halogen lamps in their home over to LED Lamps and was wondering what colours suit certain rooms? Or doesn't it matter? Kinda new to this so sorry...
