Fluorescent Tube Lamps in Shed won't Switch on?

I have a problem with the two fluorescent tube lamps in my shed – they won’t come on. Here are the symptoms and course of events: Since we bought the house 4 years ago, Lamp A has always just flickered dimly at the ends, presumably due to the starter motor having worn and needing replacing. Until la...

Flow Pipe Hotter Than Radiator on Radiator Furthest From Boiler

Re: Leaking heated towel rail - can it be fixed or does it need replacing?

Thanks - we had some radiators replaced recently and inhibitor was added at that point, though in the two years preceding there was none. The leak is at a welded joint - must've corroded through? Thanks for your help.

Leaking heated towel rail - can it be fixed or does it need replacing?

Hello

I have just discovered a slight leak from where one of the rungs of my heated towel rail joins an upright part - see photo.

How best can I seal this? Is there a long-term fix, or will it need to be replaced?

The towel rail is two years old.

Many thanks in advance,

Nick
