Fitting a Large and Heavy Shower Screen

So I have a big old piece of glass to install to shower tray . Supplies have only supplied one long bracket, that the glass will simply sit in , to fit to tiled wall and some rubbers and another rail for the top on the other end . My question is this sufficient ?

And how about the creaking would simply screwing them to something more solid be all I can do or would there be any alternatives ?
In going to cut back the damage now instead of changing whole tread.
