Installing the ventilation bricks will help to prevent penetrating damp issue but will save you nothing on your heating bills, which was the reason you had the insulation installed in the first place. is the external wall exposed to wind driven rain?? if so it sounds like you are suffering from penetrating damp. Do you have a cavity in the wall and has it been insulated. the internal air flow of the house will allow the surface of the plaster to appear dry but your problem lies deeper.
