Treating Decking Joists Before Replacing Decking

I am replacing my rotten timber decking with composite decking but am replacing all the joists as well. To prolong the life of the joists I would like to treat them with a product but have searched and cannot find anything specific for joists. They are tantalised.
Any suggestions.
