What's the Best Method for Removing Paint From Wooden Stairs?

Hi

I was wondering what was the best way to remove paint from wooden stairs, I can use a heat gun on the outside, but the centre on the stairs, which I assume have glue on them for the carpet, can't be heat gunned or sanded.

Many thanks

Using Vinyl Matt to Cover Imperfections in Wall

I've prepared my walls and there are still some small cracks and dents that can be seen...

Instead of filling every single imperfection, would vinyl matt be the best paint to use to cover alot of these tiny imperfections ?

Painting Concrete Floor With Rinseal Diamond Hard and Advice Needed

I would like to paint a concrete floor, probably going to use Ronseal Diamond Hard.

Can I sand this floor to get a smoother finish and do I have to put on any sealant before painting it ?

Bathroom Basin and Water Seeping out Through Plug Hole

So, we moved into a council house last month and lots of decorating to do.... I then noticed that the water was not staying in the bathroom sink when the plug was one, so I replaced the plug and still the water goes down. It looks like the plug hole (sorry don't know the technical term) may not have...

What Differences Between Easi-Fill or Easi-Filler

Morning I was wondering what is the difference between Easi-Fill and Easi-Filler ? I have just moved into an old house and the walls are stripped bare, back to the old paint and wallpaper paste. I've been told this is good to use to patch up large ares of uneven walls, just not sure which one to use...

Is Ready Mix Cement ok to Use for Wall Capping Repair?

Afternoon

I have an outside wall where the cappings have come loose, would ready mixed cement be ok to repair this, once I have removed the old stuff ?

If so, any recommendations on which one ?

Cheers
