I think I'll go with the silicone, I reckon it's a case of taking time and trouble. The house is an old lady and needs TLC!

Could someone please advise on a filler we can use to fill in a gap in our laminate floor, we cannot butt them up from the edges as the previous owner of our house has built fitted wardrobes over the floor edges nearest to the gap. Please could someone offer advice on how to fill in between the windows and sills (interior) The windows are PVC and the guy who had the house before us has used sealant on everything.
