Using Conduit Before Covering to Hide Wiring

Hey guys, a beginner with home improvements etc. I want to hide the light switch wiring wishing plaster wall do I have to put it in conduit inside wall or can I patch up straight over it? Also what do you recommend filling over the hole with.

Brass water pipe repair after nailing through both sides

Well to put this simple, I installed new floorboards and while fixing them down with no head nails and accidentally went through the a brass water pipe the nail has gone straight through and came out the bottom so there two holes. It has taken a while for it to happen and I came home to find a leak ...

Kitchen Floor Tiling Advice on Tiling Over Existing Covering

Hey everyone, pretty much brand new to all DIY accept from a minor bit of roofing when I was younger with my old man and some laminate floor here and there. So I've just brought my own house and started doing the kitchen and want to tile the floor currently, its the old council stuff like the sticky...
