Hi Doh! Thanks for taking the time to reply, I think I follow what your saying. I did take a photo of the original and I know which cables are which. Untitled.gif Am I right in saying that the top grey cable is a "fourth termination", and if so does that mean that the live and neutral are ...

Help understanding how to wire new ceiling light and where wires go

Hi I'm trying to install a new ceiling light and I don't understand where the existing cables should go. I've drawn a diagram to illustrate. Untitled.png I assume that all of the earths should go to the earth. All of the live's should go to live. Should all of the neutrals go to neutral.... or shoul...
