Re: Is this a 1 or 3 phase mater?

As said looks to be single phase, the Wylex fuse box is around 1980 or earlier, the wooden base is not liked, and it has no RCD protection, the Hagar unit I will guess is for a shower, the main switch on the Wylex is only rated at 60 amp, which is OK, but could be a problem with any EV charging, so...

Is this a 1 or 3 phase mater?

Hi, I'm buying a home and want to move the meter and would like to know if this is a single or three phase and be able to have a smart meter fitted when moved.

What type of certificate bricklayer to change non standard prefab to standard construction?

Hello,
as per question above, I'm buying a brick skin around prefab and would like to certificate its change officially with a certified brickie. Trouble is, how do you locate them? I've googled to no avail.
Also interested in rough pricing.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Plug to Take 6mm 3 Core Cable for Audio Project

Thanks for the detailed reply. However, large multi strand cabling is thought to have a positive effect on audio clarity and depth of reproduction with amps/DACs etc. There are those that point to the science saying you can only increase or decrease power levels and that the cable in short runs (i.e...

Plug to Take 6mm 3 Core Cable for Audio Project

Hello there, I'm after UK plugs to take 3 core 6mm conductor cables for an audio project to connect some class D amps. Why 6mm? Well, these amps benefit in sound from having a heavy a gauge conductor feed as possible - according to my son and his audio mag! Anyone know of any, especially if silver/g...
