Many thanks for your help - i did unscrew the round bit and it was covered with what was gunk i.e. toothpaste and stuff - i cleaned it - however there are still bits in the upper part that i cant get to - would you know of a tool i could use to scrape this gunk out? perhaps i could use some wire.......

Hi there I to have a smell from under my sink and have been advised it is my washing machine drain hose that connects to my sink area. I too am no expert but from what I have experienced it could be related to the positioning of the drain hose to prevent waste water seeping back....it's worth explor...

Hello, Was wondering if anyone could give me a step by step guide on how to re-pressurise my boiler and also bleed radiators? Have the gist of it but a little confused over the order for bleeding rad and topping up boiler pressure. Have detached a rad and reattached it. Have not at this stage opened...
