Re: Room Thermostat Wiring

Thanks, I worked it out using a multimeter to determine I need to connect to Demand terminal. Thanks for the heads up on the rating, but I'm well under the maximum.

Room Thermostat Wiring

Hi Experts, Need a bit of advice for wiring a Corgi STT RS1-C room thermostat. I have a tubular heater (no temperature control) that I want to use in my cellar but want to control it through the thermostat above so it only comes on when the temperature drops. In short, it's a very basic setup in tha...

Grid Neon Light Wiring

I bought a grid neon light so that I can see if I've left the lights on in my cellar.

I got it to work by connecting the terminals to a live and neutral feed but I am curious as to why the two terminals are marked L1 and L2 - why not L and N?

Liner Below Loft Insulation in Victorian Semi

Hello fellow DIY-ers, I recently moved into a Victorian semi which has no loft insulation, so obviously that's going to be one of my first DIY projects! However, the ceilings in some of the bedrooms below are starting to show their age and I'll probably want to have them taken down and replaced some...
