Electrics query

I have a built in oven which plugs into a standard 3 pin socket which is supplied from a 30amp cooker circuit. If I replace my oven with one with a higher rating, needing to be hardwired, would I be able to replace my 3 pin socket with a terminal type box?

Combi boiler

My combi boiler has started to heat tap water just when sitting idle, resulting in seriously hot water when the hot tap is turned on. On examination the temperature is 80 degrees, considering the system should be limited to 60.
Anyone have any suggestions.

Radiator Inlets on Right and Left Hand Side

Is this normal, or bodged plumbing in a house built 29 years ago? When I had a combi boiler installed all of the valves were replaced by thermos...

Noisy Central Heating System Powered by Baxi Platinum Combi Boiler

My central heating system, powered by a Baxi Platinum combi boiler, is very quiet when heating from cold in the morning and also when cooling at night. However, when the room temperature reaches/exceeds the set point, the thermostat continues to fire up the boiler with monotonous regularity, sometim...
