Re: Changing Level of Beam and Block Floors

I think the task you have in mind, is a bit over ambitious..! Dealing with Beam and Block floors is no afternoon job, the weight of the concrete Beams alone may require a crane to lift them, Have you checked the weight of one of them Beams..? Is there another layer of screed on top of the Beam and B...

Re: Penetrating Damp From Outside Wall Into Hallway and Whats the Best Course of Action to Take Whilst Waiting for Rendering to be Repaired

Re: How do I move a steel container?

The other option is to get rid of it, totally, b...

Re: laying foundations for a small conservatory

You may have a leaking fresh water pipe (maybe an old lead pipe) or a cracked drain, if you get in touch with your local water company and ask if you can send them a sample of the water they may be able to test it to see if it is clean drinking water or is it water from the water table, You can also...

Re: How to Seal a Leaking End Cap After Removing Sink

15mm-stop-end.jpg Did you cut the pipe with a hacksaw or pipe cutters, ..? hack saw leaves a very rough cut which is never very square and clean, However best fit a compression end cap, (0.99p from screwfix) (15mm pipe normally for a sink) easy to fit, just need 2 adjustable spanners or 2 pipe grip...

Re: Help to Identify Toilet to get Replacement Parts

chances are you will not be able to just buy the lid on its own, but you can buy the cistern with lid separate from the toilet pan,

however it does look like a Stax SupaPlumb toilet,

Hope it helps
