You can wire them as a ring final circuit (ring main) fused at 32 amps or as a radial circuit fused at 20 amps. Check the projects page for more info. These sockets must be protected by an RCD and this work is notifiable to your LABC

No earth connection in these boxes. If using a plastic switch then terminate the earth in a connector block.

There is a good guide here for wall lights m It will depend if conduit or capping has been used to protect the cable to these lights. If the cable has been plastered into the wall then replacing it will be messy. With conduit it's usually easy to gain access from above or below and replace with new ...

Are all these items of equip fed from one circuit. It would be possable to remotley control these but you would need to install a contactor and a smaller control circuit to switch the contactor. It's not difficult just a bit tecnical.

Rocky/Kuzz i agree with everything you say as the regs are still very hazy on this topic. Kuzz, Sparx Does your method of creating a labeled trap for access to jb's conform with 7671. I have had a major argument on other forums with sparks who say that this method is inaccesable and contravenes the Regs. Personally i feel the Regs are a bit foggy on this and don't actually say what is cl...
fastened the 2 red wires up to the live connector
the 2 black wires up to the neutral
If the two black wires are live and neutral then the fuse would have blown at switch on.... not switch off.
