Buying Windows Online and Fitting them Separately

Has anyone bought windows online and then arranged a fitter separately? It looks like I could save £1000’s depending on how much a window fitter would cost. How much would it cost roughly per window for them fitting? I’m guessing around £75?

Any experience tips / help appreciated

Cable Test to see if a Rewire is Needed for new Property

We’re moving house and I don’t think the electrics have ever been changed since ~1940. Could I (or a electrician) test the cables to see if they are ok and then just swap out the fuse board, sockets and switches or should I just rewire?

We’re about to move into a house and the hot water tank and associated electrical are in a bedroom cupboard. Do regulations allow them to be in the bathroom? There is a empty cupboard at the end of the bath, totally partitioned off. Could I move the tank in there or are there regulations to prevent ...
