i would say till it goes a pinky salmon colour or till it has gone off really shouldnt take long on a sunny day

no thats not the case waiting for 2 weeks you can paint as soon as it goes the pinky salmon colour in this weather warm it should dry in 2-3 days or you could hire a heater to dry it out then it will dry quicker

plastering over artex

hi i moved into my house recently done all the rooms now onto the front room it has awful diy artex really patchy i was wondering if you can plaster over artex or would it be better ripping the ceiling down and reboarding any help will be greatly appreciated
