Hi there,
Last year we moved into a house, which has a concrete Anderson-style Air-Raid shelter at the bottom of the garden. It is approx 6.5' long, 4.5' wide and 6' deep (approx 3 feet of which is below ground with concrete steps leading down). We would quite like to keep this unusual feature within the garden and use it as a shed, however, over the winter/rainy months it gets really damp and we're not sure what to do to overcome this. We have considered using a damp-proof membrane, but there seem to be so many options and types - we're a little baffled as to which is the best for us to use and whether this would require drainage? Please could you give us any ideas you have in this respect? Cheers!
