JANET,

DEPENDS ON IF/HOW ORNATE THE ROSE IS AND IF/WHAT ITS SURFACE IS DECORATED WITH.

IF NOT TOO ORNATE AND IF PAINTED WITH VINYL EMMULSION,GLOSS OR EGGSHELL, VERY CAREFUL AND TENTATIVE USE OF A KETTLE TYPE PORTABLE STEAM CLEANER AND THE VARIOUS CLEANING HEADS MAY SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM.

IF THIS PROVES TO BE TOO FIERCE A SOLUTION THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO RESORT TO SUGAR SOAP, PAINT BRUSH,CLOTHS AND ELBOW GREASE.

ALDA.
