got an extension to plaster,building inspector wants two coats of bonding over themalite blocks before the finish coat can be apply .is it best to let each coat dry,pva before skimming or is it best to when almost dry.any advise would be welcome :?

Personally, if it was me I would use sand/cement backing on an extension & then you would only need to apply one coat & then skim
