leaking lead pipe

Hi

Could anyone advise me where i can buy a pipe bandage the ones you soak and then wrap round.

with out knowing too much of what the problem is could you not just cut the lead pipe and fit a lead lock and renew the pipe with copper
regarding the bandage would anti corrosion tape do(denzo)
