***BAXI BERMUDA GF SUPER LFE SUPER BACK BOILER PARTS

by handywoman » Tue Jun 24, 2008 8:04 pm

Good Evening

I have hot lots of advise from you all on here in that is likely that the reason my Baxi Bermuda back boiler won't fire up is because the gas valve needs replaceing. I have very little money at the moment so trying to look for the parts on line.

I have found one part that is being sold on line, the details of which BAXI BERMUDA BBU GAS VALVE PART NUMBER 236129BAX. Is there anyone on the diydoctors site experianced enough to tell me if this is the right part number, and if it is not, how do I go about finding the right part number. Obviously I will employ a Corgi Registered gas fitter to fit the valve but really have to watch the pennies!!

Yes that's the valve you want - should look like this :

I'm not advising to buy gas spare parts off ebay - the picture is for illustration only, so you know if it looks the same as the one on your boiler. You don't know what you're buying off ebay - parts may be fine. but could also be seconds/faulty, tamperered with etc.

Forgot to add, the baxi gas valves do look alot like universal Multifunctional Control valves.

But there are differences, the outlet from the valve is on the side (not the bottom) and the electromagnet push button is longer.
