Horror flat roof cliches

by cookerooby » Mon Jul 14, 2008 11:19 pm

Am building a side rear extension on a nice looking 1930's house and due to certain issues have to have a flat roof. The front elevation will remain the same as extension is a continuation of an existing adjoining garage that has a small pitched roof from which new flat roof will emanate just below ridge tile towards the rear of the house. Am concerned about the rear elevation as I want to avoid the usual 'white fascia, bit of green felt, guttering' look. Any ideas?
