Hello,
I recently had a leak in the corner of my bedroom. The leak is now repaired and the wall dried out and I am wanting to crack on with the repair and restoration.
I have removed the wall paper and it seems most of the plaster underneath is sound and still hard, there are a few cracks but obviously previous ones as there is evidence of them having been filled before.
However, where the 2 walls join in the corner there is some crumbly plaster, about 1-2inches high and 1cm wide. Am I ok to scrap most of the crumbley stuff out and then just fill the hole, or does it mean something sinister?
My plan at the moment is to fill with something, line with paper then paint over.
Advice please (-:
