gas experience Information, help and advice on many gas related subjects from gas fires to domestic appliances

Hi htg engineer & steve the gas,
could do with some advice.
Passed my acs exams 18months ago but could not get a job through lack of experience. doing a driving job but working with my brother in law some weekends fitting the odd new boiler and landlords safety certs ( hes a gas engineer but nothing doing at his place)
Hes going out on his own soon and i really wanna join him, but feel i could do with a little more experience. Obviously working during the day stops me from goin with other engineers and not many if any work in the evenings or weekends. Im happy to work for free, but havent got a clue where to look. Any ideas on how to get a bit more experience before i take the plunge would be much appreciated.

Have you applied to work for BG ? even just as a service engineer, it's still experience working on gas, although I find servicing boring. They advertise - no experience necessary. Worth a go.
