can anyone help? I have mira sport max 10.8kw on mains , good flow rate of 11 litres per min , shower works fine until i use washing machine, downstairs taps etc.. , then flow goes to a trickle should this really happen? Is this what you have to put up with , and only use the shower when the dishwasher or washing machine isnt on? Should this happen at all ?...My plumber is even stumped, i have cleaned head and valve and its only 10 months old...[b][/b]

It doesn't surprise me at all that you have a problem. Maybe your mains supply is at full capacity when running the shower, so when the w/m which is downstairs and closer to the stoptap, calls for water it robs it from the Mira.

Not unexpected at all I am afraid.

so this must be a common problem for anyone with a powerful electric shower , so how can you improve the flow? Is it worth putting flow regulators set at say 6 litre per min on the kitchen sink , basin taps , wc cistern to improve the flow? or anything else..?
