Selling a gas cooker and safety certs

by harpenden08 » Tue Oct 07, 2008 10:33 am

Hi

Does anyone know if I would need a safety certificate when selling a freestanding gas cooker? Connection wise it has a bayonet connection and is in a good aged condition.

I am trying to sell my cooker on ebay but the last winner said I need a safety certificate and has now pulled out.

Thanks for any replys.

Gas cooker seller.

No you dont, you will only get a certificate for the installation. Which the buyer is ressponsible for.
