Hi all
I'm planning on flooring my attic space in a 1940s semi-detached house. The house has gas heating (which therefore heats the water) but still has several old water tanks in the attic. Is it ok to remove these (provided they fit through the access)?
In addition to 2 quite large water tanks there is another smaller tank with a ballcock, which is connected to the outside wall by a small pipe. This small tank is very dry looking and doesn't look like any water has been in it for quite sometime. What is this tank for and is it ok to remove it? Is there a possibility that this acts as some sort of overflow from outside?
Thanks in advance
Glenn
