Upstairs and hall radiators make very loud banging noise stops when turn radiators down and bedroom radiator has to be turned off. Tried bleeding bedroom radiator got lots of air out and lots of black water. Unable to turn bedroom radiator on at all due to the noise! Any advice? Thanks.
take the heads of the trvs in the area of the noise if it stops its a trv but you have to change the whole valve not just the head to cure it
Thank you for this advice, is this something I need to call a plumber in to do or worth trying to do myself?
