Fitting shower door

by marked » Wed Dec 10, 2008 2:31 pm

I am thinking of installing a glass shower door instead of the shower curtain that is at present on my shower. However have been told that I need a new shower tray as the one I already have has a lip on it and a door can not be fitted to a tray with a lip, the tray must be flat. is this salesman talk or can it be done. the shower is in a recess by the way so does not need any other panel other than the door.?????

marked,
If you are lucky you may be able to find a shower door with frame which will fit the opening. These generally have adjustable sides to fit a range of openings.
