Honeywell ST6400C

by batesy324 » Wed Jan 14, 2009 10:26 am

I have recently noticed a problem with my ST6400C central heating timer - I currently have my ch on 24 hrs a day but the hw is on three times a day - when the hw is due to come on, it continually clicks straight off and the only way to stop this and get the hw to work is to turn the heating off - I have reset the timers etc but this still doesnt work - any ideas please?

This may be stating the obvious but hey. I had a Honeywell and it had 3 settings. CH - HW - or BOTH. If yours is like this I assume you've got it set to both. As the heating works when the heating isnt on it sounds like a fault on the timer.
PS Why not turn the heating off when youre in bed ?
