Hi, I'm a newbie to the forum and need help please. I have a heating system that is run by oil central heating and when not using the oil I use the a warrior multi-fuel stove which takes over the central heating. The problem I have is that when I use the oil for heat, everything seems to be ok but, when I use the stove the heat does not seem to reach all the radiators equally and the water in the header tank gets hot. I have tried to balance the radiators as best I can but the problem with the header tank confuses me. Please help.
have tried doing this but then the heat does not reach the last radiator. I've tried balancing them again, but can you tell me when balancing the radiators will it make a difference doing them when the oil is on as opposed to the stove, if so which is the best one to balance them with?
thanks.
