Whistling Central Heating.

by Mickerick349 » Wed Feb 11, 2009 7:27 pm

I have a Remeha Avanta Combi boiler.
When the central heating system is on there is a whistling sound coming from the boiler.pipework area. When the domestic hot water kicks in the noise stops.
The radiators get very hot and I have tried to bleed them. All seems ok with them

Has anyone any ideas what to do next?

Maybe it is time to call the engineer out as the boiler is only 7 months old.

Get the manufacturer out, as long as you have all the relevant paperwork and boiler has been registered they'll repair it, whistling noises can sometimes be problems with the diverter valve.

Hiya mate

yes, If i remember correctly, you have a 5 year warranty (only if serviced every year in accordance with the MI) with that boiler, so either call them or the installer.

Good choice of boiler like.
