slate tiles onto cracked concrete bathroom floor

by Nicnaxs » Tue May 22, 2007 3:53 pm

I have bought slate tiles which i wanted to put down in my bathroom. On removing the current flooring cover i found a rather large crack going through the centre of the floor. This room is above the kitchen where we had a wall removed.
what i want to know is the best way around getting the tiles laid without them cracking.

please help

You don't say what floor type you have in the bathroom, concrete or timber ? We have to assume concrete as the description of "cracked" does not really describe timber. What surface do you want to put the tiles onto?
