foundation regs

by stableinfluence » Thu Apr 16, 2009 9:54 pm

I hope to convert my bungalow into a reasonably sized dorma. I know an RSJ will be required for the build, but am unsure about regulations required for the foundations? are they the same as is required for a standard first story block extension? any advice much appreciated

stableinfluence,
Chances are that you will be asked to expose the foundations to prove they are adequate - seek agreement with your Local BI at the first site visit.
