rewirable fuses in CU

Hi all,
Would like to know what type the fuses are in my CU. they are rewirable plug-in / pull-out type. Are they 88`s 1361`s .... can ne1 tell me please.

Hi s1bgs,
The rewirable(semi-enclosed) fuse are BS3036
These will have a fuse carrier that will be marked with a coloured dot to denote the size of the fuse wire that should be installed.
BS1361 fuse are cartridge fuses assossiated to the type you find in a plug top. With again a fuse carrier much like the one above when used in CU
BS88 are more industrial and have a high breaking capacity, but are used as the main breaker at cut where your incoming supply is, this belongs to the eletrical suppliers.

rewireable= bs 3036
bs88/bs1361 are cartridge type fuses
