Water Leaking through beading

by Raining » Mon Jun 08, 2009 8:20 pm

When it rains water seems to be leaking through the beading of my upvc windows (at the bottom of the window (top opener) so I am guessing there is some sort of problem with the seals???...or the drainage holes??

Is it an easy job to remove the pane and change the seals..or is it a job for the professionals?

Raining,
Pull out the inner rubber seal, push the glass back from the outside and prise out the beading. you'll probably find the manufacturer has forgotten to drill drainage holes.
end
